The Adams County Fire District personnel provides fire prevention education for the students at the Hiawatha Elementary School. 

Our emphasis this year is:

Our remote control robot, we will explain to the children the importance of getting out of a building and staying out, if there is a fire incident. 

The fire personnel and volunteers also have the Edith House, which is a smaller version of a actual home and is used for practicing exit drills in a home.
