| Locate A New Business Site |
|
There are three areas in the greater Othello area designated for industrial development: the Lee Road industrial corridor and the Bruce industrial site, both on the railroad. A third site is provided at the Othello Municipal Airport. Specialized zones are provided for medical facilities around the community hospital and high traffic retail commercial around Wal-Mart. Residential zoned sites are available on the north and south sides of the city and are adjacent to all services. Suburban zones are provided in the county on the south and west sides of the city. Sites are privately owned, green fields on the market and ready for development. Parcels range from 1 to 100 acres. Available services range from 6,000 GPM for fire flow to high-pressure natural gas. An active Port District, pro-business community, city government and “non-growth management” county will facilitate an expedited permitting process. For more information on the available sites for any kind of new business or development in or around the City of Othello, please contact the Community Development Department.
