Welcome to the Othello Police Department on-line! We are very excited to be serving our community on the Internet, as well as in person because it will bring us even closer to those we serve. To further educate the community we will be providing you with many opportunities to learn more about the Othello Police Department and the services we provide. In 1997 the new City Hall/Police Department complex was constructed. Our Police Department has many modern facilities including a dispatch center, offices for the staff, evidence room, interview rooms and a booking area with two cells. Our Othello Police Department personnel consists of 14 sworn officers, six dispatchers, eight reserve police officers as well as an animal control officer. The department provides services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to a population of 6000 people with a surrounding population of another 6000 people. The Othello Police Department Dispatch includes enhanced 911 and computer aided dispatch.
